Bill Cain

Health and Safety Manager

Bill Cain is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety and holds an MSc in Construction Health and Safety Management. He has over 25 years’ construction experience and is responsible for health and safety management across the business, including policy information and development strategic overview and legislative compliance.

Bill has extensive knowledge and experience of the implementation of occupational health and safety systems and in the application of CDM Regulations. He continuously works to develop his knowledge and experience through the maintaining of his CPD register on the IOSH website.

Bill ensures that the C2V+ project teams are fully supported in managing safety and openly liaises with the Health and Safety Executive to ensure works fully comply with their standards.

Together with his team, Bill supports the development of all plans and procedure, ensures coordination of works with other contractors as required, assists in the drawing up of risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work. Bill also regularly visits sites to offer advice and to undertake audits/inspections to ensure that compliance is checked independently from the construction teams.
